girl

house.
A small one, to be

Joy seeped through

Joy was found in

Joy was the solution
Until one fateful
night
That joy just seemed
to stop
Everything fell
silent
The moment she heard
the shot
The sound rang in her
ears
It rang so loud and
clear
But even as she fled
with fear
She could always hear
it here
The night it
happened,
It was cold
Not just the air
For everything was rolled
Into one hopeless
noise
A noise she would
remember
For every single day
that passed
Every word, a
sizzling ember
In her mind
Everything’s the same
But in reality
Really, everything’s
insane
People running wild
then
As the shots ring out
so clear
People screaming,
crying out
As the sound rings in
their ears
So now she keeps
herself locked up
Away from all the
world
Hoping one day
someone will come
And take her where
it’s not so loud
Now you know what
really happened
To this girl now so
full of pain
She heard a shot. She
saw the signs
Telling everyone to
run away
Back to love and back
to life
Back to a world where
everything was perfect
Where everyone, was
happy
And no one knew all
the effects
She’s older now
But still she hears
That shot that rang
So loud. So clear.
Everywhere she goes
now
People tell her it’s
alright.
To wait cause one day
Everything will turn
out just fine.
Along the road one
day she finds
In front of her a
light
It’s in the shape of
the shot that rang
So loud that fateful
night
A voice rang from the
light in front
Telling her that’s it
alright
Saying everything ok
right now
There’s no reason to
be afraid
I knew you before you
were
My creation and my
child
And here I am
revealed to you
To show you that my

It’s not cold, but

It’s something in

could take away.
Up till this day she
feels the same
That love is
everywhere.
It keeps her safe, it
showed her grace
It showed that
someone cared.
Even till the day she

That love was in her
heart.
She gave it out to
everyone
The love God gave her
at the start.
